The product came in relatively fast compared to some other orders i made for christmas gift options. The chess board is very pretty, seems sturdy (well, for glass anyway) and the pieces also seem pretty durable. However, I saw a set similar to this at Kohls a few days after ordering for around the $20 range. The box it comes in is flimsy and the Styrofoam is only good until you open the box. Doesnt really seem worth the price without proper storage, cheaper boards that are similar and like the last reviewer said, the picture does deceive. I would have sent it back had i not already given away for christmas.

The set itself is fine. My disappointment was that it comes in styrofoam and a cardboard box. The price should be a lot less for this! I slid the styrofoam out once to look at the set and because the glass is hard and heavy the styrofoam already broke and it is a gift!!! Obviously, the recipient will have to find some other type box to keep the set in. I saw a very similar set on sale for $7.99 at Barnes and Noble and the only difference was that it was a smaller size. I think this set is over priced given that it does not come in a sturdy box for storage. Also, if you are considering purchasing this, remember that the board does not come with the little feet as shown in the picture. They should show an accurate picture, not a deceptive one.
